Since early in 2020 our nation, state, and church have been facing a growing global pandemic of COVID – 19. When Governor Ducey issued a stay at home order on March 30, our church complied fully, and our staff began to work from home. We had already suspended in person worship. Hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and most congregate living facilities stopped allowing visitors and restricted activities for their patients and residents. Subsequently, our Resident Bishop issued directions that there be no meetings of even two persons at our church campuses, and our conference issued a set of directions for operating in this phase of the pandemic and when we can finally reach “Phase I” of re-opening.
