United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women (UMW) is an organization whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice. Members raise money for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in theUnited States and countries around the world.

Our purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Any woman can be a member whether she is United Methodist or not.

The UMW meets the first Thursday of the Month (excluding summer) at 11:30 AM in Fellowship Hall for a luncheon and a program. Activities include:

  • Providing mission and caring activities as a group, as well as through the individual circles and small groups
  • Providing support when UMW members are ill or in crisis (through prayers, cards, notes, phone contacts)
  • Providing assistance with memorial receptions when needed
  • Visiting hospitals and care facilities

United Methodist Men

The purpose of United Methodist Men is to assist men to know Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually and seek daily to do his will.

The United Methodist Men meet for breakfast and a talk on the third Tuesday of the month at 8 AM in Fellowship Hall. Join them for a great breakfast and an interesting discussion.
