ry is One-on-One Ministry by a trained, caring friend.
Ministering to those who are experiencing:
- Loneliness
- Hospitalization
- Being Homebound
- Retirement Changes
- Anxiety and depression
- Loss of a loved one
- Terminal or chronic illness
A Stephen Minister is:
- A caring Christian who walks beside a person who is hurting
- A church member with gifts for care giving
- A lay person who has received 50 hours of training
- A friend who listens, cares, prays, supports and encourages
- Someone who will be there for you, meeting faithfully for about an hour each week for as long as there is a need
